Angela Hywood is an experienced naturopathic clinician with over 26 years of clinical experience, specialising in integrative endocrinology, women’s health, fertility, and pregnancy care. Prior to Angela’s career in naturopathy, she studied at the School of Pharmacy, Curtin University of Technology in WA and has a strong interest in herbal safety, particularly herb-drug interactions and pharmacology. Angela is a well known speaker at complementary and integrative medicine conferences both in Australia and internationally; and has published articles in complementary medicine journals in Australia and USA. Angela’s clinical passion in the art and science of herbal medicine, clinical nutrition, homoeopathy, whole food nutrition and lifestyle medicines are tailored into dynamic clinical programs for her patients.
Professor Darren Morton is an internationally recognised wellbeing expert who is currently the Director of the Lifestyle Medicine & Health Research Centre at Avondale University. He is a Fellow of the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine and was the inaugural recipient of the society’s “Change Maker” award. Darren was also one of four people selected worldwide to write the board certification exam for the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine.
Darren is the author of four books that have collectively sold over 100,000 copies and has approximately 70 publications in scientific and medical journals. He has also made numerous media appearances and presented to hundreds of corporate, educational, community and academic audiences around the world.
Darren is the world-expert on the “runner’s stitch” but his research today primarily focuses on evidence-based approaches for improving mental health and wellbeing from the disciplines of Lifestyle Medicine and Positive Psychology. This has led him to develop wellbeing programs—such as The Lift Project—that have engaged tens of thousands of participants from over 50 countries.
In his spare time, Darren loves being active outdoors and spending time with family and friends.

David studied Behavioural Sciences at USQ and followed that with Registered Nurse training at the Royal Brisbane Hospital where he continued in a permanent part-time position for 20 years, including 12 years in the infectious disease ward which became the centre for HIV medicine in Brisbane. In private practice since 1992 David completed a Masters Health Science (Herbal Medicine) at UNE in 2007 and is currently a PhD candidate with UTS where he is studying the outcome for people with Anxiety or Depression consulting a Naturopath for an individualised herbal medicine prescription. Currently the co-owner of a Naturopathic clinic situated in a medical specialist building adjacent to a major metropolitan teaching hospital. David was elected to the board of the NHAA in 2017 where he previously served as President.

Tabitha is an experienced Naturopath, founder and director of Awaken Your Health in Sydney, where she has run her own private clinical practice for fifteen years, integrating Naturopathic healing principles with the latest scientific research to educate and empower her clients.
After attaining her Bachelor of Medical Science from the University of NSW in 2001, Tabitha went on to pursue her passion for Integrative healthcare by completing an Advanced Diploma Naturopathy & Diploma Nutrition and Post Grad Dip of Applied Science in Nutritional & Environmental Medicine. She has also completed a Masters in Reproductive Medicine through the School of Medicine.
Tabitha is absolutely passionate about improving the health of everyone she comes in contact with, a focus of her practice is working to optimise health, fertility and quality of life, by implementing therapeutic diets, whilst educating around the hidden dangers of environmental chemicals to help her clients reach their full potential.

Sandra Villella has been a naturopath and herbalist for over 3 decades. After graduating from the Southern School of Natural Therapies in 1993, she completed a Master of Applied Science -Acupuncture. She runs a busy naturopathic practice and has a particular interest in women’s health. She is also the consultant naturopath and clinical leader for Jean Hailes for women’s Health, Australia’s leading women’s health organisation, a position she has held since 1999. As well as working in the Jean Hailes Medical clinics, as part of a collaborative health care team with general practitioners, medical specialists and other allied health professionals, she is responsible for the development of educational resources on natural therapies for women, for the website, national magazine, webinars and seminars, for both the general public and health professionals. She also creates recipes for the “Jean Hailes kitchen” which provide health based nutritional educational messages. Sandra lectures final year naturopathy students at Torrens University, Melbourne campus.

Professor Kerry Bone is the co-founder and innovation driver at MediHerb, where he serves as Director of Research and Development. He regularly lectures in Australia and overseas and is a prolific author, with seven published herbal medicine texts and over 40 scientific papers on herbal research, including original research and systematic reviews.
As a recognition of his research role, in 2016 MediHerb was awarded the American Botanical Council’s (ABC’s) Varro E. Tyler Award for excellence in Phytomedicinal (Herbal) Research. In 2015 Kerry’s lifelong contribution to the field of herbal therapy was recognised with his receiving the prestigious Lady Cilento award from the complementary medicine industry in Australia. Kerry still maintains a busy herbal and naturopathic practice in Toowoomba Queensland where he has been in continuous service for 37 years.
